President Erdogan visited the Teknofest festival, which is taking place these days in the capital of Ankara.
The head of the Turkish state made a speech.
The president, in particular, said: “We are admiring the interest shown in Teknofest, the number of participants and visitors of which is growing exponentially every year.”
He especially noted the massive participants in the framework of the festival contests.
“I learned that a million young people have submitted applications for participation in Teknofest 2023, which is an important milestone for our country and nation. This is a picture of Turkey’s century,” the president said.
President Erdogan continued his speech with the following words: “Gloomy periods when the connection of our youth with the past was torn, and the future was overshadowed by the interests of the imperialists, now behind.”
“Now we have a national technological movement, we have a generation of Teknofest, we have purposeful, hardworking young people who cross the world and rush into space on the bridge that they built from the past to the future,” Erdogan emphasized.
