President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement after a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the presidential complex in Ahlat.
President Erdogan at the beginning of his speech noted the importance of holding a meeting in Ahlat.
“We showed what significance we attach to Ahlat and Malazgirta, having held a historical meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which for the first time in the 21st year of our presidency passed outside Ankara,” he said.
Turkish President touched the topic of forest fires.
“We have the most powerful army to protect the” Green Motherland “in our entire history. There are 27 aircraft in our park, 105 helicopters, more than 5 thousand ground vehicles,” Erdogan said.
He called on all the political parties and movements of the country to unity in the fight against natural disasters.
