ESPN: UEFA will not exclude members of superliga from Champions League

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) this week does not plan to exclude clubs who announced participation in the European Super League, from the Champions League semifinals and the Europa League, reports ESPN.

Champions League semifinal matches and Europa League are scheduled next week. Of the eight remaining participants of European -ugal matches, five clubs are among the founders of the Super League. In the semifinals of the Champions League “Real” will meet with Chelsea, and “Paris Saint-Germain” – with Manchester City. In the 1/2 finals of the Europa League “Villarreal” will play with Arsenal, and Manchester United – with “Roma”.

In the event of the exclusion of “Real”, Chelsea and Man City from the Champions League, they could replace the losers of the quarterfinals – “Bavaria”, “Porto” and “Borussia”. The second option is the early announcement of the “PSG” winner of the Champions League. But, most likely, UEFA will neither resort to one or another option, leaving everything as it is.
