Ethiopia: Truck Fell River: 71 People Died

In the East African country of Ethiopia, 71 people, including the groom, died, after that, the truck transporting the wedding guests fell into the river.

According to the Ethiopian security forces, 71 people died and 2 people received serious injuries when the truck transporting wedding guests fell into the river in the Sidam region in the south of the country.

Among those killed with the result of an incident that occurred on December 29, late in the evening, was also a groom.

According to the regional police, the truck in which the guests went to the wedding got out of control on a steep and winding road and fell into the river from the Gelan’s bridge in the Bona Zuria.

“As a result of the accident, 68 men and 3 women were killed, and two people received serious injuries,” the report said.

Two seriously wounded were delivered to the general profile hospital in Bon.
