the European Commission and the European Foreign Policy Service unveiled the package of Moldova’s support measures to “bring the country to the European Union.”
“The EU today shows that we support Moldova and work to accelerate your European integration and reforms. The future of Moldova in the EU,” said the chairman of the EC Ursula von der Lyain.
The European Commission calls five priorities that include a Moldova support package.
We are talking about economic development, support for reforms, ensuring energy security, strengthening security, countering the manipulation of information and interference from abroad, including misinformation.
The document explains that the declared measures are supposed to be financed by redistribution of funds as a result of the revision of the EU long-term budget proposed by the European Commission on 2021-2027.
