The EU Council extended the mandate of the civilian observation mission in Armenia for two years – until February 19, 2027.
This was reported in the publication posted on the social network X observation mission of the EU.
today the Council decided to extend the mandate of the Mission of the European Union in Armenia (EMU) for another two years, until February 19, 2027, with a budget allocation of more than 44 million euros for the period from February 20, 2025 to February 19, 2027 years, ”the council’s decision says.
The mission consists of more than 200 people, including international and local staff, which represent 25 countries, including Canada.
According to the publication, the tasks of the mission remain unchanged – it is the naked civilian mission.
