The European Union intends to impose sanctions against Iranian organizations that support Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
This was announced at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyain.
“There are hundreds of Iranian -made drones that Russia uses on the battlefields in Ukraine. So for the first time we also propose to impose sanctions against Iranian organizations, including those associated with the Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution,” she said.
Note that Moscow and Tehran reject the versions of the supply of Russia Iranian drones.
