EU is preparing sanctions for Russian allies

The European Union is preparing new sanctions for Russia and people and companies from third countries who help it bypass sanctions, writes Bloomberg.

According to the publication, new sanctions will allow Europe to limit those who help Moscow bypass already adopted restrictions.

In addition, sanctions can be applied to those who import Russian goods into the EU through a third country, while hiding their country production, or export prohibited goods to Moscow. Citizens of the European Union may also fall under sanctions.

A separate point of the new package may be sanctions that allow arresting suction assets. Now there are no rules that allow you to do this.

, as a separate step, the commission works on the legislation, which will arrest suction assets. The current rules provide that the legal possibility of confiscation of assets can open a door for using assets under sanctions to restore Ukraine.
