Ukraine received 2.5 billion euros of the next tranche of macrofinance assistance from the European Union to its accounts, the country’s Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said in his telegram.
“Today, 2.5 billion euros of macropinance assistance from the European Union were received at the Ukrainian accounts. Thank you for this support, which will allow the government to finance the main critical expenses this year,” he said.
Shmygal added that almost daily the government is negotiating with partners to increase financial assistance and create new support programs.
