Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas thanked Turkey for the decision to limit air traffic to Belarus for representatives of certain nations in the framework of the fight against the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border.
Skhinas also stated that the number of flights from Turkey to Belarus should be reduced from 17 to zero after making this decision.
Recall that earlier Turkish Airlines, one of the main international carriers flying to Minsk agreed to suspend the sale of tickets at one end for migrants from the Middle East, seeking to get to Europe through Belarus.
