The European Union will allocate 270 million euros in grants for four years. This was stated by the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen at a press conference following a trilateral meeting of the EU, the USA and Armenia in Brussels.
“We will provide 270 million euros in the next four years in the form of grants,” she said.
von der Layen emphasized that the EU intends to make Armenia more stable.
According to the head of the EC, the European Union fulfills this in October 2023 a promise to support Armenia.
She noted that Brussels and Yerevan launched a joint coordination platform for investment to “identify projects for cooperation together”.
von der Layen also added that the EU will continue to maintain reform.
