Norway reported an emergency on the gas pipeline, which supplies the UK, writes Bloomberg.
The Norwegian police reported an “incomprehensible situation” at the Oormen Lange gas plant, which is engaged in the processing of raw materials. The company supplies the UK 20% of all gas necessary.
Law enforcement on the causes of problems is expected now. “The situation on ORMEN LANGE (Plant – Ed.) Is clear. There will be an application for the press about the incident,” the local police said on Twitter.
Norwegian law enforcement officers have been guarding the facility since the authorities strengthened security measures at Norwegian oil and gas facilities after explosions on the North Stream on September 26.
