European countries consider the option of boycott of the Olympics-2024, if Russia and Belarus are allowed to participate in games, reports the publication Inside the Games.
For this option, the former member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from Norway Gerhard Haiberg.
The reaction of European countries caused the words of the President of the IOC Thomas Bach. He recently came up with the initiative to discuss the scenario of the return of Russian athletes to international tournaments.
Many did not agree with the position of Bach, including the former president of the World Anti -Doping Agency Craig Raid.
French journalist Alen Luchenfikhter said that the implementation of Thomas Bach’s proposal “will kill the Paris Olympics.”
