Europe does not cope with arriving liquefied gas

In an effort to purchase as many natural gas as possible after the supply of supplies from Russia, Europe was not ready for the arrival of a huge number of tankers from LNG, writes Reuters.

At least 35 LNG-TANKERS, waiting for unloading, are near the shores of Spain and in the Mediterranean Sea. Sources report that ships are in line in other countries. Therefore, the real number of tankers awaiting unloading can be more. The situation in Spain was so tense that the Enagas gas operator announced an emergency, saying that he could begin to refuse to receive tankers.

“We are observing a large number of tankers near the southern coast of Spain or circulating along the Mediterranean Sea, as well as a certain number of near the UK,” confirms the ICIS analytical company, Alecis Frolley Analytical Company,

.

Now gas storage facilities in Europe are filled by 92.4%, the excitement of the purchase of raw materials has passed, prices for it fell three times since August. However, the purchased goods continue to arrive. If sellers do not wait for the opportunity to unload now or under more favorable conditions, tankers can go to other regions, primarily to Asia.
