More than 60 European companies announced the creation of a coalition in order to strengthen the positions of Europe in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative, called “European Union Ai Champions Initiative”, was presented at the Summit in Paris for AI actions, which takes place under the co -charter of France and India.
Among the participants in the coalition are companies such as Airbus and Mistral AI. The main goal of the association is to make Europe a world leader in the field of AI, as well as promote the simplification of the regulation of AI as part of the European Union, reports Le Monde.
It is expected that French President Emmanuel Macron will present a coalition at dinner with European leaders in the Champs Elysees. The AI action summit, in which numerous heads of state, ministers and representatives of leading technological companies in the world take part, will end tomorrow.
