European Parliament supported convict in Russia in case of “military fakes”

Deputies of the European Parliament wrote a letter to the convicted person for 7 years in the case of Fakes about the Russian army to the Moscow municipal deputy Alexei Gorinov.

“You are not forgotten and not alone in your righteous struggle for the liberation of the people of Russia and other countries of the continent from the horrors of war. Your energy encourages us to unite and maintain your protest until the children of Ukraine are safe, and Russia is not It will become free and peaceful, ”the letter signed by 34 deputies of the b.

In July, the municipal deputy of the Krasnoselsky district of Moscow Alexei Gorinov was sentenced to 7 years in the colony in the case of Fakes about the army, later the Moscow City Court softened the sentence for a month. He became the first sentenced to the real term under the article on the distribution of “fakes” about the army that appeared in the Russian Criminal Code after an invasion of Ukraine. The reason for the criminal case was the recording of the meeting of March 15, 2022, where Gorinov proposed to declare a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the ongoing military aggression in Ukraine. All deputies agreed and stood up.

Gorinov also proposed to cancel contests and dances while there is a war.
