the European Union and NATO will officially make an appeal to Russia to stop the war and to withdraw troops from Ukraine, and also promise Kyiv “full support”. This is reported by the publication Politico.
The text of the document will be presented in the near future, possibly on Monday or Tuesday. Another option is at the beginning of 2023. Politico writes, the document is “unremarkable”, the only news is that it will be officially accepted – although they wanted to do this at the NATO summit in Madrid, which took place in the summer.
EU and NATO urge Russia to “immediately stop this war and leave Ukraine” and again declare their “unshakable and constant support of its independence.” They also agreed to “fully support the inalienable right of Ukraine to self -defense and choose their fate.”
