European Union and NATO signed a new declaration of cooperation.
The signing ceremony was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Signatures under the document were set by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg and the chairmen of the European Commission and the European Council Ursula von der Lyain and Charles Michelle.
“The new declaration of cooperation between NATO and the European Union is designed to strengthen the strategic partnership between the parties,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference.
“We have just signed the third joint declaration of NATO – EU to further advance strategic partnership between the Alliance and the European Union, this step seems to be more important than ever,” he said.
