The European Union considers non-profitable statements emanating from the uncomplicated Ukraine regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, about a possible attack by Ukraine. Brussels condemned the use of heavy weapons and indiscriminate shelling of civilians and urged Russia to de essay and dismiss the troops from the border with Ukraine, said the EU Supreme Representative on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel.

“EU does not see the grounds for the statements coming from the uncomplicated government of the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk, about a possible Ukrainian offensive. The EU calls for Russia to constructive dialogue, diplomacy, restraint and de essocialation,” says Borrel’s statement, which reports Kommersant .
Brussels also welcomed the “position of the restraint of Ukraine in the face of continuing provocations and attempts to destabilize.” The EU is concerned that the “staged events” can be a pretext for “military escalation”.
