European Union hopes for an agreement to release Ukrainian ports this week

The export of grain through Bulgaria and Romania from Ukraine is insufficient, so the European Union hopes for achieving an agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the “grain issue” this week, said the head of the EU foreign policy, Josep Borrel, upon arrival at the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministry.

“We do that we can, for the export of grain along the lines of solidarity through Bulgaria and Romania, but this is not enough, so I hope for an agreement this week to release Odessa and other Ukrainian ports,” TASS quotes him.
