Three Russian generals, as well as officials involved in the export of Ukrainian children to Russia, will become defendants in the new sanctions list of the European Union, dedicated to the anniversary of the outbreak of war in Ukraine. This is reported by EU Observer.
Under the next round, sanctions will fall: Major General Alexei Avdeev, who commanded troops in areas, “where the Russian army committed atrocities against civilians.” The commander of the airborne troops of the Russian Federation Mikhail Teplinsky, who commanded the troops “in the area of the execution of the inhabitants of Buchi” in Ukraine in 2022. The commander of the strategic missile forces (Strategic Missile Forces) Sergey Karakaev, who “was responsible for the strategic shelling of civil infrastructure.”
Tatyana Moskalkova, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the population of Bashkiria, Lenar Ivanova and deputy chairman of the Moscow Region Government, journalist Vyacheslav Dukhin, can fall under new sanctions. They are facing a ban on the issuance of visas and freezing assets for assistance in organizing the mass export of Ukrainian children from the captured territories of Ukraine.
The remaining 59 people on the new list – deputies of ministers, deputies, senators, prosecutors, military and propagandists. It is expected to include the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov, deputy heads of Roskomnadzor and leaders of the All -Russian Popular Front.
