European Union is ready to provide Ukraine nine billion euros

The EU leaders after a meeting in Brussels agreed to send assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 9 billion euros to support the economy in the conditions of war, the Russian BBC service.

“We will increase liquidity and help restore Ukraine,” wrote the head of the European Council Charles Michel on his Twitter.

It was previously reported that part of this assistance will be provided in the form of grants, part in the form of preferential loans. From what sources the EU intends to finance the program is still unknown.
