European Union softened anti -Russian sanctions: to pay for Russian oil

The seventh package of the sanctions of the European Union (EU) introduced the ban on export from Russia of gold and expanded the black list of the organization, but also significantly softened a number of financial restrictions against Russian export of oil and food and canceled some prohibitions on Russia’s supply of individual goods and services for aviation, It is said in the statement of the Council of the European Union.

“The new package for clarifying and setting up sanctions will include a ban on the acquisition, import or transfer of gold from Russia, including jewelry. The EU decided to expand seizures from restrictions in order to resolve transactions with individual government agencies with regard to agricultural products and transportation of oil to third countries, ”the document says.

In addition, the EU also lifted the ban on the supply of Russia for a number of goods, services and technologies for the aviation industry, “which is required by international air safety standards.” At the same time, the European Union expanded the black list of individuals and legal entities and the list of goods and technology prohibited to Russia.
