The European Union will impose strict sanctions against Iran because of the situation with protests in the country and the military supplies of Tehran to Russia. This was stated by the Supreme EU on foreign policy and security, Josep Borrel, reports Reuters.
“We will take very, very stringent sanctions against Iran. We will take any measures in support of Iranian women and peaceful protests,” the head of the Eurodolomatia promises.
.
Borrel specified that restrictions are introduced, among other things, because of the Iranian support of Moscow.
“I spoke on Friday with the Iranian Minister, Iran continues to say that he does not supply drones to Russia and does not intend to supply rockets. Let’s see,” Borrel added.
