“With regard to weapons supply, we need additional support, so we will take a political decision today that we will increase support for an additional billion on the European side so that Ukraine can buy weapons herself,” RIA Novosti reports.
Berbok added that Germany will work on the German producers in the case of procurement of Ukrainian producers, “it could happen as quickly as possible.” Security considerations will also be taken into account due to the position of Russia, so the deliveries will not be publicly outlined.
