The European Union will provide Ukraine with financial assistance in € 18 billion. Money will begin to arrive monthly in 2023. Every month, the European Union will transfer to Kyiv € 1.5 billion, said the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen on his Twitter account.
She clarified that the funds will go to control the country. “In connection with the continuing war with Russia for Ukraine, it is very important to have a predictable and stable flow of income,” Ursula von der Lyaine emphasized.
Kyiv claims that the country’s management needs € 3-4 billion payments monthly. According to the head of the European Commission, € 1.5 billion will be issued by the European Union, and the United States, international funds and other allies of Ukraine will be sent to the rest.
