Ex-Chancellor Austria Kurta deprived of inviolability

The National Council of Austria unanimously voted for the removal of deputy inviolability from the former Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz. He resigned against the background of anti-corruption investigation.

On November 16, the Special Committee of Parliament gave the Green Light of the Unmunit Kurtic. Parliament deputies were to technically approve this decision. Kurtz himself still welcomed this step on Tuesday and stated that he did not consider himself guilty of illegal activity. According to Ex-Chancellor, his innocence has already confirmed an independent legal expertise. He expressed confidence that he would prove his right point.

Sebastian Kurtz resigned in October. He was accused of bribing the media during the election campaign of 2017. Ex-Chancellor of Austria does not recognize guilt and believes that it only unfortunately formulated an SMS message. The executing Chancellor is now the Foreign Minister Alexander Sallenberg.
