Investigation in a criminal case against the former head of the executive authority of the Curdamir district of Jayhun Jafarov and other officials of the district are completed. According to Haqqin.az, in the Lenkran court on grave crimes chaired by Judge Javid Safarli, documents were studied.
At the meeting, the prosecutor requested 10 years of imprisonment for Jafarov for Japhoon. However, the court sentenced the ex-chapter of Yves by 8 years 6 months of imprisonment.
Recall, on August 19, 2020, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption during the Prosecutor General conducted operational and investigative activities in the administrative building of the Curdamir district, in the management of landscaping and irrigation systems, a combine of utilities and territorial administrative representation in the Curdamir city. In relation to Japhoon Jafarov, Tajeddin Jafarov and Natika Kerimov were initiated by criminal cases under articles 308.2 (abuse of official authority), 311.3.1, 311.3.2 and 311.3.1 (receiving a bribe) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. By the decision of the Binagadinsky District Court against them, a preventive measure was elected in the form of arrest.
