The former head of the executive branch of the Dzalilabad district of Namik Zeynalov, convicted by the decision of the Lenkoransky court on serious crimes by 12 years in prison, filed an appeal against the sentence issued against him.
haqqin.az reports that the lawsuit brought to court Zeynalov’s lawyers notes that the verdict issued by the court against their client is unfair. Lawyers asked to cancel the verdict of the court of first instance and to bear the acquittal.
The case will be considered in the Shirvan Court of Appeal.
Recall that Namik Zeynalov, who was detained during the operation of the state security service, was accused under Articles 179.2.2 (assignment and embezzlement committed repeatedly), 179.2.3 (assignment and embezzlement committed by a person using his official position ), 179.2.4. (Assignment and embezzlement committed with causing significant damage), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311.3.3 (receiving a large -scale bribe), 311.3.2 (re -receipt of a bribe), 313 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
