Turkey was subjected to serious terrorist attacks, but other countries, including Sweden, did not take this threat seriously. This idea was expressed by the ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde, whose words are given in the documentary “Processen”, shown on the air of the Swedish television channel SVT.
The film, in particular, touches on the topic of submitting the application of Sweden to join NATO.
According to the Swedish ex-minister, Turkey was right when it talked about the presence of the problem of terrorist structures in the Scandinavian country.
The ex-minister attracted attention to the fact that the YPG terrorist organization (Syrian wing of the RSC) has financial sources in Sweden.
The President (Turkey Recep Tayyip) Erdogan has the right to criticize the situation with financial subtopics [terrorists]. This also gives the Turkish leader the right to criticize Stockholm inability to take the threat of RKK, which is classified as a terrorist organization, ”Linda said.
Ann Linde held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs in Sweden from September 10, 2019 to October 17, 2022.
Sweden applied to NATO membership on May 18, 2022, during the period when Linda still held the post of minister.
