Ex-minister Salim Muslimov was accused of assigning 27 million manat

In the Baku court on serious crimes, a court in a criminal case was held in relation to the former Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population of Salim Muslimov, accused of excess of official powers and assigning 27 million manats of budget money.

According to Haqqin.az’s own correspondent, during a court session, part of the 107-page indictment was read out.

S. Muslimov is accused of receiving bribes from the leaders of various companies related to the construction of individual residential buildings for families of the Shahids and Disabled War.

Parting part of the money allocated to the houses built to improve the socio-living conditions of the families and disabled people of the war, the ex-minister from selfish motives made official fraud, included false information in official documents and thereby abused official powers.

being in collusion with the former head of the Ministry of the Ministry Ademar Dzhabiev (a court decision sentenced to 8.5 years in prison -ed.) And other persons, the minister assigned part of the allocated funds. Construction companies announced by winners of tenders did not fulfill their duties, however, in official documents, construction work is indicated as completed.

S. Muslimov is also accused of receiving bribes from persons appointed by the heads of the departments of the State Social Protection Fund, the State Labor Service in various areas. He is also accused of assuming violations during repair and construction at enterprises subordinate to the Ministry (sanatoriums, etc.).

Note that the former minister, during the investigation, returned the state 20 million manat. The property of the ex-minister in the amount of 8 million manat was also arrested.
