Ex-President Guinea Mousse Dadis Kamara escaped from prison

The former president of Guinea Mousse Dadis Kamara fled from the prison located in the city of Konakri. This was announced by the Minister of Justice of Guinea Charles Wright.

According to him, the prison, which contained the ex-president, was attacked by armed persons in the morning. “The ex -president of Guinea managed to escape from prison with other prisoners,” he said.

It is noted that all the entrances and trips leading to the prison in Konakri were cordoned off.

Kamara came to power in Guinea as a result of a military coup in 2008. He was arrested in September 2022 on charges of planning a mass reprisal at the stadium. In September 2009, 157 people were killed at the stadium in Konakri, who participated in an anti-government demonstration.
