Ex-President Of US Barack Obama Supported Candidacy Of Kamaly Harris

Ex-president of US Barack Obama and his wife Michel Obama announced their support for Vice President Kamaly Harris, who became a candidate from the Democrats after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

Obama on his page on the social network X shared a video of the joint telephone conversation of his wife Michelle Obama and Harris.

“Michelle and I called to tell you that we will proudly support you and do our best to help you win these elections and get a place in the oval office,” said former President Obama.

Michelle Obama also stated that Harris was proud of, and added that it would be a “historical event.”

Kamala Harris also thanked Obama’s spouses on her account X, noting: “Your support means a lot to me.”

July 21, US President Biden reported on his account in X that he had dropped out of the presidential race and offered the candidacy of Vice President Harris.

Harris in a short time secured the support of more than half of the delegates from the Democratic Party, and reached the number of delegates necessary for nomination to the president.

A presidential candidate from the Democratic Party will be officially determined at the party congress in Chicago on August 19-22.
