Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan and the chairman of the opposition party “The Justice Movement” Imran Khan was sentenced to three years in the case of corruption, local media reports.
The Islamabad court found the ex-head of the Pakistan government guilty of corruption. The case is associated with the sale of values lying on storage in the state treasury Toshakhan.
The court also ordered him to pay a fine of 100 thousand rupees.
According to the media, shortly after the court of the sentence, Khan was taken into custody in Lahore.
