The ex-wife of the richest man on the planet, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos Mackenzie Scott married a science teacher from Seattle. The Wall Street Journal reports.
Scott recently donated over $ 1.7 billion to charity, as she posted on her Medium blog. In the same place, she mentioned a change of surname. In December, the woman wrote on her platform that since breaking up with Bezos, she has given away more than $ 4 billion of her fortune.
Scott’s new husband, Dan Jewett, said that he was engaged in teaching for most of his life. And now, “by a happy coincidence,” he married “one of the most generous and kind people,” the man wrote in a letter posted on the website of the international charity company Giving Pledge. He noted that he joins his wife in readiness to donate colossal financial capital to help others.
