In the ancient city of Mabollah in the Turkish province of Mugla, artifacts were found during excavations, more than 2400 years old.
The ancient city is located in the Menthesh area of the province of Mugla. Among the ruins of the city there are economic, military and religious objects.
Archaeological work in the ancient city has been going on for about two years.
The head of the group of archaeologists Adnan dealer told Anadol that excavations in Mabolla were carried out in the early 2000s. Five years later, excavations were suspended, and in 2021 they resumed again.
Excavations are carried out under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
“it was possible to establish that the age of the found artifacts exceeds 2400 years,” he said.
According to him, the city also housed a military garrison.
