The expert noted that children with diabetes should not prohibit the use of certain products. They can eat in the same way as their peers, and there are even sweets. But from the use of sweet carbonated drinks they should refrain.
Akperesade added that recently, the second type of diabetes has been spreading among children. Its symptoms usually appear late. Sick children, as a rule, have excess weight, over time, symptoms such as irritability, weakness, dry mouth also appear. Such diabetes can occur after 10 years, while symptoms of diabetes of the first type are observed in children at the age of 5-7 years.
