Export Of Turkey To Turkic Republics Doubled In 4 Years

Turkey exports to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in 2024, compared with 2020, doubled, exceeding $ 11.1 billion.

According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics (Tüi̇k), trade between Turkey and the Turkic republics, both at a bilateral level and within the organization of the Turkic states (TDT), demonstrates an impressive growth.

In the period from 2020 to 2024, Turkey exports to fraternal countries increased annually. If in 2020 it amounted to $ 5.4 billion, then in 2021 it reached $ 7.2 billion, in 2022, $ 8 billion, in 2023, $ 9.9 billion, and in 2024 exceeded 11.1 billion dollars, setting a new record.

Among the 5 countries, the largest volume of Turkish exports last year came to Kazakhstan- $ 3.3 billion. In second place, Azerbaijan ($ 3.1 billion), followed by Uzbekistan ($ 2.2 billion), Kyrgyzstan ($ 1.4 billion) and Turkmenistan ($ 1.1 billion).

The leading industries of exports

The main export position of Turkey in the Turkic republics in 2024 became boilers, cars, mechanical devices and nuclear reactors. Deliveries of these products reached $ 2.6 billion.

In second place, electric machines and equipment ($ 1.1 billion), on the third- knitwear and accessories ($ 593.6 million).

In addition, Türkiye exported precious metals and jewelry to 5 countries in the amount of $ 530.1 million, as well as cars, their components and spare parts for $ 529.8 million.
