November 20 in Kazakhstan will take place of extraordinary presidential elections. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the country Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev.
The president of the country indicated the government to take the necessary measures for the organizational, material, technical and financial support of extraordinary presidential elections, and the akims of the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and regions ensure the timely compilation and reliability of lists of citizens with electoral law, to provide all-round assistance to the central one, Territorial and precinct election commissions in resolving issues of organizing and holding extraordinary presidential elections.
Recall that on September 16, at a joint meeting of the chambers of the parliament, amendments to the Constitution on the presidential election were approved. Now in Kazakhstan the president will be elected once for seven years.
