The Security Service of Ukraine detained the offenders who introduced themselves to the SBU employees and offered foreigners their “assistance” in obtaining a Ukrainian passport. To do this, they promised their customers to use supposedly their own connections in law enforcement agencies. It is known that the cost of “services” was 10 thousand dollars.
SBU employees detained dealers during the transfer of the first part of the money for the “passport” for “registration” of Ukrainian citizen for a Russian woman who has a residence permit in Ukraine, presenting her with a fake official certificate.
As the investigation notes, two inhabitants of Kyiv were defendants, one of whom was prosecuted for attacking a police officer.
