The head of the Directorate of the Administration of the President of the President of the Transcant Fakhretin Altun said that Turkey is fulfilling all its obligations in the matter of the fight against the climatic crisis.

Altun noted that the world today is experiencing a very important period when the efforts of the climate crisis are used unprecedented in history.
According to him, climatic changes cause great harm to humanity and cause large -scale migration.
“Migration, caused by environmental problems and instability, reaches the level that is not able to overcome many countries. However, despite difficulties, we can overcome these difficulties and provide a better life for future generations,” he said.
Altun also emphasized that Turkey fulfills all its obligations in the matter of the fight against the climatic crisis.
The head of the department recalled that Ankara signed all important international environmental agreements.
According to him, in recent years, Turkey has achieved great progress on the use of renewable energy sources.
“I am glad to report that about 54 percent of our electricity production (about 100 GW) falls on renewable sources. In recent years, our country has increased investments in this sphere and expanded tax benefits. Thanks to all this, Turkey has become the fifth energy producer from energy from Renewal in Europe and the twelfth in the world, ”he said.
Altun recalled that on the initiative of the spouse of Turkey President Emine Erdogan since 2017, the Zero waste project has been implemented.
In 2017, the volume of waste processing in Turkey was 13 percent, in 2022 reached 30 percent, Altun noted.
“Until 2035, we intend to increase the amount of waste processing to 60 percent,” Altun said.
