The representative of the Armenian organization in France, a member of the Dashnaktsutyun party, Murad Papazyan said that the Armenian leadership would have to answer the French colleagues for a ban on his entry into the republic.
“The President of France is informed of the decision of the Armenian authorities to prohibit me to enter the country. The authorities of Armenia will have to answer,” he said in an interview with the newspaper Graparak.
Recall that Papazyan was banned from entering Armenia on July 13. In the evening of that day, he arrived in Yerevan, but he was detained at the airport, a passport was taken away, and then he was accompanied by a plane heading to France. The Armenian government on Friday explained that Papazyan in June last year was one of the organizers of the attack on the motorcade of the Prime Minister of Armenia, who was on an official visit in France. The participants in the action threw the motorcade with various objects, and the situation was left only by the efforts of the French police and security forces. It was for this reason that the famous Dashnak was prohibited by entry.
