The Finnish company for the production of Fazer products stated that it stops working in Russia because of its invasion of Ukraine. This is stated in a special statement of the company.

According to the company on the company’s website, Fazer has four production sites in Russia: Smolenskaya, Murinskaya, “Neva” in St. Petersburg and “Star” in Moscow, which produce bakery products. About 2300 people are employed at these enterprises. In 2021, turnover in Russia amounted to about 157 million euros, or 13% of the Fazer group turnover. On March 4, the company stopped all exports and suspended investment in Russia.
