Farah Pahlavi, the widow of the Iranian Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, made a request in connection with shaking Iran for several days by protests.
In her appeal, Farah Pahlavi condemned the murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who stirred the whole country. She noted that with “excitement and hope” she watches the events taking place in Iran: “The murders of Mahsa Amini, my other compatriots fighting for freedom, break my heart.”
Farah Pahlavi noted that she supports the protest movement in Iran: “I see how Iran gets to my feet and is proud of your courage and selflessness.”
She also turned to the police, the army of Iran with an appeal to stop violence, “not to get the hands of the country’s youth blood.”
