The US Federal Bureau (FBI) of the United States did not find any evidence of the alleged connection between the ex-president Donald Trump and the Russian Alfa-Bank, the former general consultant of the bureau James Baker.
Information on the presence of a “hidden communication channel” between Trump and Alfa-Bank in September 2016 was transferred to investigators by Michael Soussman, who then held a lawyer in the election headquarters of the Democrats candidate Hillary Clinton. As a result, Sussman himself was involved in court for perjury: he stated that he did not work for the client when he requested a meeting to transmit information about the channel, but later, as indicated in the indictment, Clinton’s account for appropriate chores issued the campaign.
The ex-consultant of the FBI acted as a witness in the process of Susissman. “The investigation (about the communication channel) lasted several weeks, maybe a month, maybe one and a half. We came to the conclusion that all this is unfounded. We could not confirm that there was a hidden channel for communication. There was nothing there,” – Cits a Baker on the process of the Fox News TV channel.
Special Prosecutor Robert Müller, who has already investigated the “Russian case” under Trump for two years, confirmed the accusations of the special services against Russia of interfering in the elections, but did not find evidence of Trump’s conspiracy with Russia, the presence of which is refuted by both the Kremlin and Trump. The US Ministry of Justice appointed special prosecutor John Darem to investigate potential violations during the 2016 election campaign.
