February Earthquakes Zone Of 2023 In Turkey Was Removed From Drone

On Monday, February 6, 2023, in the southeast of Turkey, two earthquakes of magnitude more than seven points occurred (at 04.17 local time – 7.7 points and 7.6 points at 13.24).

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the province of Kazakhmanmarash.

The destructive earthquake was also felt in neighboring countries, including in Syria, Lebanon, Trsk, Greek Cyprus and Iraq.

Strong destruction and losses were recorded along with Kamhramanmarash in the provinces of Hatay, Osmania, Adyyaman, Diyarbakyr, Chanlyurf, Gaziantep, Kilis, Adana, Malaysia and Elazyg.

The number of victims of earthquakes amounted to 53,537 people, another 107,213 people were injured.

A brigade from 93 countries arrived in search and rescue operations.

National mourning for 7 days was announced throughout the country. A state of emergency was announced in the region affected by the earthquake.

In total, 650 thousand people were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster, including 11,488 arrivals from abroad, 35,250 participants in search and rescue works and 142 thousand security forces.

In 350 tent towns, 645 thousand tents were installed, in 414 container towns – 215 224 containers.
