On Wednesday, December 11, the Congress of the International Football Federation (FIFA) took place, at which the countries of the World Cup 2030 and the World Cup-2034 in football were officially declared.
President FIFA Gianni Infantino held a vote in online format.
The world championship of 2030 will be accepted by Morocco, Portugal and Spain. One match of the championship will be held in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. This decision was made by FIFA in 2023 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup, which took place in Uruguay in 1930.
The World Cup – 2034 will be held in Saudi Arabia.
