The Egyptian national football team in the Penalty series defeated Cameroon’s team in the African Cup semi-finals. The match took place in the capital of Cameroon Yaounde, reports TASS.
The main time of the match and two additional half of 15 minutes ended with a score of 0: 0. In the 90th minute, the chief arbiter of the meeting showed the Red Card to the head coach of the Egyptian national team Karlush Cairoha, who will miss the final match.
In the Final of the African Nations Cup on February 6, the Egyptian team will meet with the Senegal team who won the day earlier representatives of Burkina Faso (3: 1). Cameroon and Burkina Faso team will play the match in the third place on February 5.
The Egyptian national team is the seven-time winner of the African Nations Cup. The last time the Egyptians won the tournament in 2010.
African Nations Cup is the largest international tournament in Africa among the national teams. Last year, competitions were postponed due to coronavirus.
