FINANCIAL TIMES: France confiscates real estate Russian oligarchs

The government of France intends to confiscate all the assets of Russian oligarchs in the country falling under the Sanctions of the European Union, including real estate, luxury yachts and cars, reports the Financial Times newspaper with reference to the Minister of Finance of the country of Bruno Le Mayor.

“We will also identify all Russian citizens with assets in France, which can be added to the European sanctions list for communication with the Russian government,” the Interfax of the French Minister quotes.

“We will get legal grounds for the confiscation of all these assets,” he said.
