“Finland is preparing to introduce a complete ban on the entrance to the country for Russian citizens.” This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pekka Haavisto at a press conference in New York.
He noted that today, September 21, Helsinki decided to start the preparation of a national decision on how to limit or completely prevent “this tourist flow.”
He noted that the work has already begun, experts from different ministries under the leadership of the Foreign Ministry are engaged in it.
“Finland does not want to be a transit country, even for Russians with Schengen visas issued by other countries, and now we want to take control of this traffic,” the minister summed up.
